History of Margherita

And the case was this: the royal couple, while in the summer residence of Naples, wanted to try a local dish. Royal cooks quickly took their cue, went to the "investigation" to the foot of Mount Vesuvius, they got the recipes, but failed to introduce new dishes to the royal menu. But the yard has stirred ... and was really struck down a variety of dishes, admired the quality of their cooking. The pizza maker Raffaele Esposito was called to the court with his wife. They prepared three kinds of pizza, one of which contained tomatoes, mozzarella and basil, of the same colors that of the Italian flag: red, white and green. This version the Queen liked more. Then the pizza maker named the Queen’s favorite pizza queen by her name - Margherita. This pizza can serve as a base for all kinds future options, where anything sent by God is put onto.
